A departure from my usual subject matter and inspired by my sisters dogs- this embroidered hairy beast stands in a landscape collage of patterned cotton, chinese silks and fragments of old quilt. Bordered in continuous running stitch of silk rayon thread which has a lovely sheen. Slightly raised and backed with felt and cotton. Has a hanging ring at the back or could be framed. A quirky irregular circle it measures approx 13cm by 13cm. Keep out of direct sunlight and clean with a soft brush.
